For the past 25 years, Adolfo has been involved in Minnesota soccer as an administrator, referee and coach. His coaching experience dates back to the early eighties when he coached several youth teams in St. Cloud followed by a 2-year stint as an assistant coach at St. John's University in 1984 and 1985. In 1988, he became the head boys coach at Apollo High School after serving as an assistant coach for 2 years.

Since that time, he has coached several youth teams, including 2 league championships and 2 trips to the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) State Tournament.

As an administrator, he has held several positions within MYSA over the last 15 years, including the positions of MYSA President, Vice President of Development as well as the MYSA North Girls District Director. He is currently the President of Arsenal FC, a youth soccer club serving the northern metro area.

As a referee, he has been on the US Soccer National Instructor Staff for the past 10 years and currently conducts training sessions for Referees as well as Referee Instructor training around the United States.
